OUR FOUNDER
I wish that I had something like this when my grandparents were alive. They were the most wonderful people, colourful characters, who - as we often forget - had their own lives, adventures and stories to tell - but I never had a way to put them into print, and save them forever.
There are so many questions I'd love to ask them now, but sadly I'll never get the chance. And I realised this feeling is a universal one - loss and regret, and mystery - and longing to hear a story, one more time.
So I founded Closer as a way to memorialize in print, the words, stories and sage advice of our family members. A way to connect, bond and learn about life from their perspective. And to create beautiful, personalized journals that tell their life story, to look back on when they're gone, and to smile at their handwriting tattooed on every page.

Our goal is simple, but bold. We want to help everyone to strengthen their connection to friends and family.
